This carrier mounts on the towbar of your vehicle and can be removed easily leaving the bracket in place. It is rated to carry up to 65kg. which is equivalent to 3/4 adult bicycles. It can be fixed to the towbar of most cars and vans and I have the instruction leaflet and the webbing straps for securing it to the vehicle. I used some extra webbing and some rope to secure bikes to the rack. If you have two cars you can buy a second bracket and easily transfer the carrier from one to the other in seconds. It is in very good second hand condition with very little marking on the tubes, no rust and the spring locking mechanism works smoothly. I have it packed for posting but it is quite heavy so postage will be £15 so I'm happy for a buyer to pick up from Paisley or meet for handover.
